So it’s “Guest Blogger Weekend” here at thosecorwins.com, while the lovely couple are taking their 1 year *married* anniversary trip to the coast. When Steph asked me if I wanted to write a blog, I of course said “sure!” My first thought was to find some old, semi-embarrassing pictures of us from back in the day…but, I don’t have a scanner. Fail. So instead, I am going to share some stories/facts from early in the Steph/Alyssa friendship…some things I will always remember about us from back-in-the-day.

*For a while, I’m thinking it was during Freshman/Sophomore years in high school, Steph and I had a notebook that we would pass back and forth during classes and write letters to each other. Cute, right? I really wish I could find that thing! Mostly to laugh at the colorful gel pen ridden pages. I remember writing in this thing during the “first phase” of Stephanie & Cale relationship. Half this notebook was filled with “I love Cale!” at the bottom of each letter; then they broke up. “Cale is so stupid!” Okay, she might have not said that exactly, but you get the picture.

*Another thing I will always remember is when Steph talked me into running cross country the first year of high school because, “it would condition us for soccer.” Um, not. Needless-to-say I ended up with bad shin splints towards the end of the season and couldn’t even finish. Not to mention that the soccer season started right after and I was still in pain. But I still love her for it!

*Speaking of soccer, we played soccer together forever. High school, AYSO, etc. We had some interesting times (uhm, remember coach Larma-was that her name?), but soccer together was an awesome experience. I also remember going to a few of Cale’s soccer games when he went to North High. A trip to Oildale is always exciting!

I hope this brought back a few fond memories; this is just a few things I will always cherish. Over and out!
