Two weeks ago, instead of sitting in my living room sipping wine, eating Milanos, and watching Hope Floats, I was in beautiful Lake Tahoe with my family. Spending a weekend at home has finally given me the opportunity to edit the photos from our first day on vacation. Prior to the vacation, my mom had found Captain Steve, a guy who not only had a boat, but his business is to take you out, give you a tour of the lake, and he also had everything you would need for any time of water sport you could think of. We went tubing, kneeboarding, and wakeboarding. Of course I was only up on the wake board for .25 seconds, but it was still so fun. Lake Tahoe is so beautiful and the lake was so big, that a drive on the lake was actually peaceful. You didn’t have to spend your time trying to maneuver around boat traffic. Captain Steve even provided a lot of history about the lake and surrounding areas. It was such a wonderful day, though any day spent out on a boat is a day very well spent.
I ended up taking much more pictures than I thought I would. So I will just let you enjoy them.

Looks like a great trip! I have only been to Tahoe once, but it was wonderful. So beautiful and the weather was amazing. Nothing compared to the 105 degree heat in Oklahoma right now.

Yeah with the wakeboarding, I was completely not expecting to get up since I hadn’t the two other times I’ve been out on boats and tried. So when I go up my face had sheer shock on it, and then I just crashed and burned. The next two times I tried that day were failures from the start because then I started trying and once you try to get up.. you won’t. I did like the kneeboarding, and I’ll probably stick with that too.
