Some of you may have noticed that cute little pig on my sidebar. Some may not have visited my page in a while. But either way. Here he is:
Motherhood Uncensored has started a movement in the blogging world. For the month of August she is encouraging bloggers to support each other. Now we all may not be able to swing this economic trend in the other direction, but we can help out those bloggers who’ve been hit hard by this recession. How?
Clicking Through.
If you read blogs, then for the month of August, make the “pledge” to click through from your feed reader. No obligation to leave a hilarious comment or send a long stalkerish email (although both, within reason, are always lovely). Just click through to the blog (not on ads unless you are so led) and if you’re feeling generous, click around to their older posts.
Just those extra page views can make a big difference for bloggers who could really use the help, or in my case, where page views don’t matter so much, a big fat ego boost.
There you go. I also encourage you to read through some of the blogs I have in my blogroll on my sidebar. There are some wonderful people there waiting for you to “meet” them. I’m also planning on updating it soon for the new blogs I’ve begun reading. Anyone I’ve added to my google reader is included in my list. So you now know who I’m reading. I encourage you all to do the same. Or subscribe to someone new.
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend. I am planning on finally getting through our pictures from Tahoe so I can share them with you all. Why is it that the hardest part of going on vacation is blogging about it afterwards?

Dude, going through the pictures is for sure the hardest part of going on the vacation! That’s what I’m trying to do right now… oh, I want to go to bed, but I also want to post some pics! Hmm. the other worst part is unpacking your bags! I’ll do that tomorrow!
