Boarded Up

Today is my little sister’s birthday! She is no longer a teenager. This weekend we are celebrating by going to the coast: visiting Hearst Castle for the first time, staying in Morro Bay, shopping in San Luis Obispo, and hanging out with family. I am very excited to get away for the weekend and to visit the beach. Besides our anniversary trip to Carmel, we have not visited the coast at all this summer. Just shameful!

And while we are gone enjoying our weekend away, our dogs are going to experience something new. We are boarding them this weekend at a nearby kennel. Hopefully they won’t miss us too much, and I’m looking forward to feeling peace of mind that they are being well taken care of.

I don’t think Brodie will be any more the wiser. He’s pretty carefree.

Maisie might be a little disgruntled when we get home.. She holds grudges. Typical woman

I hope you all have exciting weekends planned!

ooh sounds like such a fun weekend, I have always wanted to do Hearst Castle but it has never worked out with our schedule when we are driving through that area. Can’t wait to hear all about it.

p.s. I also hope the pups had a good time on their mini vacay! Hopefully Maisie didn’t take it too hard … Charlie also holds grudges!

p.p.s. Oh, and I’m so glad you watched that Olberman special comment about 9/11! I love that he had the guts to speak the truth and say it so passionately … I’m so glad you agree! Yay for kindred political spirits. ha.

Your puppies are so adorable. I wish I could talk Andrew into getting a dog. I know there is a good reason we can’t get one now, but that doesn’t stop me from wanting one. *sigh*

Hope the pups did well! Mine HATE the kennel with a burning passion. But, sometimes that’s the life of a dog. Hope your trip was great!

    Thomas,

Yes that would be the one. I’ll be posting pictures from our visit sometime this week when I get some time to upload them.

I love pics of your doggies …1. because they are adorable and 2. because you take amazing photos of them. The colors are always outstanding!
