Things I Appreciate:
- Rain. Oh my goodness it rained on Friday night before we left for the coast, and oh my goodness (again, yes I was very excited) I was the happiest lady alive. Having the window open and hearing the rain drops as I went to sleep was just the greatest way to spend the evening.
- Treadmills with built in video screens. Because when I’m watching an episode of The Office the time goes by so much quicker.
- Good hair days. Those are few and far between over here. Maybe if I would loosen my purse strings and just pay the $70 that is costs for a haircut in the Bay Area, I would have cuter hair. But did you hear that? $70! And that’s not even with color. Note to self: schedule a hair appointment in Bakersfield for the next weekend we are heading there.
- Splurging on new perfume. Smelling this good makes up for the ugly mess of hair on top of my head. Seriously this is heavenly.
- Weekends with my family. Even bigger plus when it is in such a beautiful location as San Luis Obispo and Morro Bay. Oh this weekend was just splendid.
- Going to the gym with my hubby. I love spending the time together. It makes it completely worth going to the gym.
Things I don’t appreciate:
- Cat Pee in my purse.

And Now: oh my god. cat peed in MY NEW PURSE. hate to get rid of him, but seriously? this is getting expensive. not sure what to do. about 12 hours ago from web
After taking a few breaths and scouring the interwebs I have decided we are going to switch his litter and take him to the doctor for some kitty prozac. Then I am also going to get my booty to Target to get ANOTHER new purse and am going to be diligent about keeping it up off the ground.
- Getting forwarded emails of any kind. (unless they are mean-spirited forwards making fun of what someone sent you. Those are always appreciated and encouraged). Especially if they are forwarded emails that have already been proven false on Snopes. Send me one of those, and I immediately lose any faith in your intelligence and curse your name for the rest of your day for wasting my time.

Well on the plus side, Target has some way cute purses out right now. I debated in between three of them before I finally chose a large brown tote.
And $70! Are you kidding? I pay $35 and I think that is one of the higher prices in town. Holy crap!

$70 just for a CUT?! Craziness. Maybe just save that for Bako trips, lol. Rain makes me way happy too, it’s the little things!

I’m sorry about the cat piddle (ohh my, I’m turning into my grandma). Anyway, at least you get a new purse out of it!

And piddle! LOL! I would feel more excited about the new purse if I wasn’t going to go back and get the exact same one I got last time because that one was just too cute.

Oh Steph I love you (but in a totally non weird way)! I also hate forwards. I get quite a few of them from my family. I only forward on the ones that are exceptionally funny or if I think someone in particular would like it (e.g. anything to do with animals goes directly to Andrew’s mom).
Sorry to hear your kitty can’t keep its teetee to itself (that’s what my grandma calls it hehe).
$70 WTF? OMG! I know I don’t get color, but I pay about $22 and I’m always so happy with it. Holy shit!

yay! I love the rain. In fresberg it rained around midnight to one a.m. friday night. boo, i wish it would have rained some more saturday. i miss it! man — you get to watch TV on your treadmill?!?! Soooo cool! my gym is not that cool. OK, i guess i’m clueless bcuz i thot you were joking about kitty prozac! I didn’t know that existed! Maybe that really could help my psycho kitty! she also needs help with her barfing problem. EWWWW

it’s so funny that you wrote about your cat peeing in your purse because i got up this morning and my dog totally peed on my laptop. it’s probably my own fault, i left it on the couch… but come on… it’s SILVER. looks nothing like the GREEN grass he’s supposed to be pissing on. ugh.

I hate the smell of cat pee and even though it would give me an excuse to buy a new purse everytime the cat peed in it I can’t imagine all the things in my purse having pee on them- it would just suck. BUT rain, and tvs on treadmills and burberry and oh there are so many other wonderful things to make your day better AND kitty prozac (gonna so be worth it).

I am so glad I’m not crazy thinking that anything over about $40 is way too much for a haircut. Even the supercuts here is like $30, and unfortunately they are horrible (beyond belief). The $70 in the salon is for the junior stylist. The prices are just ridiculous. Therefore I haven’t had my hair cut in about six months I think.

Oh BELIEVE ME. I despise the odor of cat pee. I am obsessive about it now. This weekend while driving to the coast, we went through a forest of evergreens, and I was all “Cale do you smell that? What in the world did Neo pee on now??” lol. Luckily this time, Cale got my purse before it got on anything inside. A couple receipts protected the good stuff. The first time, it was everywhere, and I had to throw a lot of things away, including my wallet and a lot of makeup.

Is your cat spayed or neutered? They could be doing it to mark territory. Talk to your vet before you give the ka-put!

Yep he’s neutered. I think he’s just being obnoxious. We’re going to take him to the vet sometime soon. The problem is getting him there. He’s a spaz of a cat.

ohhh, I’m so jealous of your rain!! Sounds just lovely. And I can’t wait to read all about your weekend over Cait’s birthday… it sounded like so much fun.
I am sorry however, about the cat pee. Ugh, there is nothing worse than that smell. When I was growing up we had a cat who always peed on the carpet, and it was just awful. Gag.
Next time I see you, you better be wearing that new perfume, because I intend to sniff you.
