Seriously I cannot even count the number of times I’ve wondered if I really just married Chandler Bing. I mean I know I’m like Monica in more ways than one, but could we BE any more like them. Also don’t you love how my face stays remotely the same while his wavers through his different emotions. Sigh.
Please tell me I’m not the only person who has this to deal with!

Wow, I have a similar problem with my husband. He will NOT smile naturally in a (posed) picture to save his life. Usually I get deadpan, and if I’m lucky, I’ll get a pained half smile that makes him look like I am doing something torturous to him outside the view of the camera!
I totally understand. Johnny rarely smiles normally for pictures. And when I insist that he smiles, he gives my a smart-alecky cheesy grin. Good times.

Ha ha!! Jonathan does the same thing! I got him back though…he made a funny face for one of the professional portraits that they take on cruises and I bought it anyway…$25 for an 8×10. He was not amused
I am right there with you– getting Greg to SMILE for pictures is difficult, and getting him to make a non-weird face is damn near impossible. Damn it, boys!

haha! I love it! And yes, you do look perfect and gorgeous in every photo! This post reminds me of the one time John and I went to Wal-Mart (evil) to take professional holiday cheesy cheesy pictures. We seriously took the picture like 25 times! John was making the weirdest faces but he was really, really trying hard. It was pretty hilarious/frustrating. haha. The photo girl was pretty patient with us!
Ha! You are DEFINITELY not alone. I like to joke that Andrew does not photograph well. But it is SO not a joke… ha. The trick is to catch him off guard. Works like a charm.

Ha, I should share with you all the outtakes from trying to take a Christmas photo. Even when my husband does act normal, he always uses a cheezy fake smile instead of his natural pretty smile. Ugh.
so funny….I get the feeling that Cale does it on purpose cause Brett would do that to me just because I am trying to be serious and he loves to get me all worked up. I agree with Talia you should have put all 4 on a card, they are such a true reflection of you guys.

Those photos are seriously the story of my life. EVERY TIME I try to take a photo with Jay, I’m all, “Smile.” He’s all, “I did.” I’m all, “NO YOU DID NOT, DON’T BE STUPID. YOU KNOW WHEN YOU’RE BEING GOOFY. SO THERE.”
Heehee. My face always looks the same, too. I don’t know why guys make it so difficult to just get a decent photo.
