Happy Friday! I took the day off, so my Friday is extra happy. I’m keeping up my exercising. I started up Level Two of the 30 Day Shred. It’s definitely different than Level One. More intense. The cardio portions, OYE! The plank poses, OYE! Overall, OYE!
I’m taking this Friday Update in a different direction though. You know how they say laughing burns calories? Well I burned about a bazillion after watching and rewatching this past weekend’s SNL finale. Anytime they bring “Kathie Lee” on the show, I just laugh and laugh. It is exactly how she is on the Today Show. Really.

I’ve been keeping up slowly but surely. Best day this week, the latin dance class I took. Not only did my heart rate get UP there, but the next day from my waist to my calves I was sore enough to still move but not sore enough to be laid up in bed. It felt great!
it’s actually going surprisingly well!! I’m so glad I signed up, it’s been a WONDERFUL motivator.

Ohhh my gosh! That video totally made my morning complete! Too hilarious! Freaking Tom Hanks – love it. “Aaaand Tom Hanks is caught in a dry cleaning bag.” Probably my favorite quote of all time.
Also, me and my 30 flippin’ days of fitness = FAIL. You don’t even understand. I don’t even deserve to be on the list. Amen.
I keep wanting to buy The 30 Day Shred, though, whenever you talk about it. Hmmm…
I started out great…then fizzled out. I had a 2 week break from university and for some reason with my lack of schoolwork came a lack of motivation. But I’ve at least been trying to get in walks every day even if I don’t “work out” per se.

BTW, after I tried Level 2 of the 30 Day Shred, I was shaking (but in a GREAT way). LOVE IT.
Eeeee. Going to write an update tomorrow! Well, I guess it’s not really an update since I haven’t even written my first Fitness post? tsk tsk! Must get on that!
John and I went for a 30 min walk tonight though! yay! Tomorrow I think it’s back to a workout tape (the shred???) or the gym.

i’ve been going kinda slow, but i’m also doing a colon cleanse and tea detox, so i’m basically purging my body of everything crap. going to take a long walk later today and all weekend i walked, walked, walked all over new york! we borrowed a friend’s car and went to a few places. fun times! keep up the good work lady!

So busy with the whole accident/lawyer situation going on and recent vacation. But you’re awesome for staying on track!
My friend is now living with us for the Summer and she’s an exercise freak so I’m going to get my ass spanked starting tomorrow!
I didn’t sign up, but I’ve been walking lots lately and upping the veggie intake. It’s starting pay off! Whoooooooooooo!
Ok so I’m totally sucking it up fail whale style. I haven’t been working out. To my credit, which I don’t deserve, we have been in Montana since Monday of last week (5/18). I was in such a rush packing everything to get here to be with Andrew’s mom that I forgot a ton of stuff including the 30 Day Shred. I don’t know that I would have had time to do it, but what can I say? I’m going to start back up with it Monday. Anyway… no more excuses and I will most definitely get back into it. If this means I’m out of the running that’s ok, like I said I’m a big fat fail whale. ;D
