How is it that time just flies by, and then all of a sudden it’s been forever that I’ve posted. You would think after all this time I’d be full of ideas. But nope. I’ve got nothing.
Well except for some darling little bullet points:
- Cale went veggie exactly one week ago today. And he’s still alive! Not that’s it’s made that big of a difference, since we never cooked meat at home. But anytime we used to go out to eat, Cale would usually get something with meat in it. Now it’s nice going places to eat and being able to split it with him!
- The Beatles Rock Band comes out today! Which is not a good sign for my blogging. Because, well, I’ll be hooked.
- I’ve been working a lot more on my garden this summer than ever. And I feel like I have nothing to show for it! I’ve spent most of my time trying to repair damage from an annoying mole and the dog’s fervent digging to try to get said mole. But I think we finally have my shade garden fenced and guarded well enough to keep them from getting in anymore.
- We’re not going to discuss working out. But we did buy a treadmill, which should get here sometime next week. I have grand dreams of all the wondrous running I’ll be able to do all while watching my shows on our DVR. And no, it will not become a place to hang our clothes. I refuse!
- We got cable again. With HD DVR. All because of one serial killer. I wish I was one of those people who says they don’t miss having cable. I actually believe I used to say that. But now that we have it again.. I may or may not have given our TV a nice cleaning, gazed longingly into it’s large screen, and said oh how I’ve missed you. Let’s never break up again.
- Homemade ice cream is the greatest thing ever.

Bah, I’m sorry to hear about your garden, that’s so lame! But so cute that it’s a mole. I would name him something British and get an illustrator, stat!
Steph thats so funny because just the other day I asked Morgan is it sad i am actually considering upgrading to showtime just so i can have Dexter. Pretty much the best EVER.
Anna, if you have Comcast you should call and ask about the special they have.. $1 a month for a year for showtime.
Ugh, Dexter doesn’t start until Sept 27th!?!?!? (Followed the link to check). So long! *sighs* But totally worth the wait.
Oh and upgrading to get showtime – AMAZING! We got the triple play package and got a really sweet rate for like 2 years for internet, phone, and like every cable channel ever. I swear I will never need to rent a movie with all that we have. Totally worth it.
Oh and enjoy rockband. Just make sure to jump around and dance enough while playing to make it into a workout (or play a lot of the drums for arm work)!

The fiance and I are buying a home soon—along with moving closer to where I work! I hope to have a treadmill sometime also. As for that mole, hope they stay away. I’ve never had a problem with them before in our yard—now little prairie dogs we do and they carry the plague!

You and other Dexter Fans got me hooked to the show! Tyler and I absolutely love it and soon finished with the 2nd season.
I want a DVR so freaking much, but it’s one of those things that Jay insists is “unnecessasry”. Kind of makes me bitter, but whatever. He’s probably right – I’d be watching TV non-stop if we had one. Heehee.
Oh, although I’m going to be seriously pissed when everyone else is watching the new season of Dexter without me. Sad face!
And you got Cale to go veggie! Woah! That is amazing – I can’t imagine Jay even giving it a chance. (Of course, I wouldn’t even give it a chance, so maybe that has something to do with it.) It must be awesome for you that this is now something BOTH of you can do together! That’s awesome.
