We moved. Our lives were packed in boxes and moving in between two houses starting Wednesday of last week until this morning. (yes drawn out and painful).
And I’m TIRED. But we’re in our new home. Enjoying the ability to stretch out and getting used to all this space we now have to breathe.
One hundred thousand thanks to my mom, sister, and brother who came up for Thanksgiving this weekend, but got roped into cleaning the old house and moving a few straggling items. And all the help that came from Cale’s family in the heavy lifting and car swapping. Seriously who would think it took all that just to move out of a tiny little cottage?! Yikes.
So tell me, how was your Thanksgiving?
P.S. I don’t miss the old house so much after scrubbing behind the washing machine.

Aww I feel so bad for the “black” animals (Brodie and Garbage) – you can’t even tell WHAT they are! Lol
Anyways….I wanna see some house pics!!!!
Yes! I’m all kinds of excited for you and can’t wait to see pictures
aw brodie where are you?? haha. well don’t forget to announce your new blog project
. seriously this could be your big break!
Yay on the new place, can’t wait to see pictures!
Whoo hoo for getting settled in! I can’t wait to see the pictures and all that fun stuff.
Congrats on moving!! Getting settled is a bit of a process, but I’m glad that the biggest step is done! Woo hoo! Video tour?
Just in time for Christmas!
I love it when families are close by for help & support when it comes to those kind of things. We didn’t really clean the apartment when we moved and we still got out deposit back, whew!
Steph, you’re so lucky you still got all your deposit back! The last apartment I moved out of was horrible. We spent forever cleaning it, but they still took so much out! (greedy bastards lol!) We got a call from our landlord this morning though and we’re getting the full deposit from the cottage, so I’m glad
That last line made me laugh out loud.
Glad to hear you’re happy in the new place! Moving is always such a b*tch.
congrats on the move! I know the stresses of moving a little too well so just remember to take everything day by day. can’t wait to see pictures of the new place!
Welcome home! Hope you are getting settled in.
My pleasure. What are families for. I enjoyed our thanksgiving dinner. What a trooper for pulling that off with boxes hanging around. Love the new place. can’t wait till you show it off with a video blog. Love you!!!!
YAY!! I’m happy you finally have space – this year I moved too from a teensy little apartment to an actual house, the the first little while, even if you may still be surrounded by boxes left to unpack, is just magical
I second the video tour request!
Wee~ congratulations on the new place! Hope you guys will have an awesome time there. And don’t forget to clean up there, okay?
Glad you’re moved and starting to settle in. I third the video tour request! It’ll be like HGTV Corwin style!
